On behalf of The Manning Family, thank you for considering The Legacy. Although Des Moines offers many venues to host a golf event, The Legacy is a family owned and operated business and we will create an event that tailors to your group.

You will work closely with our professional staff that has nearly 20 years of experience in the golf course industry. We will provide high-quality customer service and attention to details that are imperative in producing a successful and organized outing.

Located minutes from Des Moines and West Des Moines, The Legacy is designed to attract and test golfers of any skill level. The Par 72 golf course, which opened in 2002, has been recognized by local and national golf publications as one of the best public courses in Iowa. Hosting your outing at an award winning and well-manicured course will attract more players to your event. With vast bent grass fairways, undulating greens, four sets of tees and a GPS system we have you covered from the first tee shot to the last putt; everyone will enjoy an unforgettable day of golf.

Although golf is one of the main purposes of choosing The Legacy, we can make your day complete with meals, beverages, meeting space and merchandise. Our facility includes a dining room that serves lunch, snacks and beverages, a beautiful patio overlooking the first and eighteenth fairway, and an air-conditioned banquet room that seats 160+ people. We can also assist in helping you choose a menu option or supply your guests with gifts or prizes if needed.
